About Ravi / methodology
My name is Ravi Menon. I worked as a community college writing tutor, which meant students occasionally brought in forwarded warnings, copied internet stories, and emails with enough quote marks to need a small ladder.
I started saving notes because the same message came back with different subject lines, different endings, and different claims about where it came from. The changes were useful examples for talking about sources and attribution.
Source transparency
The examples here are reconstructed or normalized samples. Some are based on partial copies, classroom notes, or saved formatting conventions. I remove identifying details and use fictional addresses where a header needs an address-shaped placeholder.
I do not claim that every sample is a verified recovered original. The point is to compare message structures and copying habits without preserving private inboxes.
ID format
FA-001-A means Forwarded Again family 001, variant A. The numbers are local filing numbers and do not encode anything else.
