Early joke forwards

Joke forwards are difficult to excerpt without becoming a joke archive, which this is not. I usually keep only enough text to compare the transmission marks.

Subject: FW: Monday [two-line office joke removed in archive copy] -- sent by someone who should be working

The subject line often becomes the most stable part. The joke changes, the footer changes, the "you have to read this" line changes, but "Monday" stays put for years.
